How is yield calculated?+

Yield is calculated once per day at 19:00 CET/CEST. If you lend funds before 19:00 CET/CEST, your first yield accrual will be recorded at 19:00 CET/CEST the following day. If you lend funds after 19:00 CET/CEST, your first yield accrual will be recorded two days later, after your first full Interest Cycle has been completed.

What are Soil Vaults?+

Vaults are lending pools that allow you to lend RLUSD and XRP token to Soil Ltd. and earn fixed yields (loan interest rate). Soil Ltd. may use borrowed funds for many purposes, including Money Market Funds (MMFs), U.S. Treasury bills (T-bills), Private Credit Funds, Crypto Hedge Funds and other instruments that pass internal treasuries policies.

What is a Fixed APR?+

A Fixed APR (Annual Percentage Rate) is a guaranteed return rate that remains constant throughout the loan period, providing predictable yields (loan interest rates) regardless of market fluctuations.

Can I withdraw funds anytime?+

Withdrawal policies vary by vault type. The Notice period always begins on the first day of the following month to align with the underlying yield-generating assets, and your funds continue to earn interest during this time. Once the Notice period concludes, the Cooldown phase begins, during which your capital no longer accrues interest while being prepared for payout. If a specific vault does not require a Notice period, funds enter the Cooldown phase immediately. Always check the specific terms of each vault before investing to understand the applicable lock-up periods or withdrawal windows.

What happens after the capped vaults fill?+

Once a capped vault reaches its maximum capacity, new loans will be temporarily suspended. You can join a waitlist or explore other available vaults.

How do I earn SEED points?+

SEED points are earned through various platform activities including lending funds to Soil Ltd, referring users, and participating in governance activities.

Are SEED points tokens?+

SEED points are loyalty rewards within the platform ecosystem. They are not blockchain tokens but can be redeemed for various benefits and platform privileges.

What are the benefits of SEED points?+

SEED points can be used to access premium features, receive priority access to new vaults, get fee discounts, and participate in exclusive community events and governance decisions.

Where does the loan interest come from?+

Loan interest is paid by Soil Ltd. Soil Ltd. may use for this purpose funds owned by Soil Ltd. generated from the underlying real-world investments of Soil Ltd. including money market funds, treasury bills, private credit, and other institutional-grade financial instruments. You do not have any control or ownership over Soil Ltd. funds or decisions how to use them.

Can I use the same RLUSD and XRP to join multiple vaults?+

No, each loan in RLUSD and XRP can only be loaned to Soil Ltd within one vault at a time. To diversify across multiple vaults, you would need to make separate loans for each vault.
